Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Los Angeles, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Small ramen spot, dimly lit and not for big parties. Cool little atmosphere. Quiet enough to hold a conversation. Place is pretty nice. Seats maybe 30 people max and has tables of 4-6. The spicy ramen was really tasty and spicy tuna on crispy rice is a hit there. Great spot if you're in the area looking for some good ramen. Service was good and parking is okay. I'm sure if it's a busy weekend you'll have to park on the street.

Small, quiet, pleasant music. Easy to order, received food in appropriate time. My friend said she didn't have much noodles and only two pieces of tofu in her veggie Ramen. My Black Ramen had two very large slices of pork and plenty of noodles. Very tasty.

Pretty mediocre experience here. My partner and I walked in on a Wednesday night and the place was empty, with loud trap music playing, which felt a bit misaligned with a quiet, midweek restaurant vibe but seemed like maybe what the staff wanted to listen to. It also smelled a little funky, but we were greeted with a smile by the waitress and we had decided we wanted ramen within walking distance of our place, so we decided to stay even though the vibes felt off. We were craving heat so we both ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen which was noted as extra spicy on the menu. Iβm pretty sensitive when it comes to spice, but when my order came and I tasted it, I couldnβt believe how bland it was. Not spicy, no real flavor to the broth just salt. The pork was really dry and tasteless too. We asked for chili oil to add and even that didnβt punch through, it was so tasteless. We also ordered soda and the waitress just gave us each a can with no glass and said they didnβt have ice. Spicy edamame on the side was fine. Again, really moderate heat but there was at least some taste to it. A really underwhelming dining experience. Even though the place was empty, the music was loud, making it h

Small cozy neighborhood ramen shop. R ramen was ok and there's a regular selection for a small ramen shop although I thought the modan broth I had was a little salty, but that's personal preference. It was relatively busy on weekday evening, with both in person dining and take out order. The server tried her best to accommodate guests as much as she could, but there's only so much she could but herself. The parking lot outside could be busy, but there's plenty of street parking too.

βI had a wonderful experience here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service made me feel comfortable. The ramen had a deep, flavorful broth, and the Hawaiian poke tasted fresh and delicious.β
